Frustrated with the results of the recent presidential election, college junior Katie Sones decided to take action. But instead of simply donating money to various organizations and causes, Katie took it one step further by starting a new cosmetics brand: Lipslut.
While cosmetics and politics might seem unrelated, Katie explained her thought process behind the line to Mustang News. “People are going to buy lipstick either way, so if you could do that and have the money go somewhere that you support, that would be perfect.”

Lipslut's debut product is liquid lipstick in a nude pink shade bluntly titled "F*ck Trump." Each lipstick is sold for $19.95 with the intention of sending a portion of the proceeds to a women's charity, which will be voted upon by customers. As the website puts it, each product is "50% towards charity, 100% against tyranny, and of course, 100% cruelty free."
The team is currently still working with the manufacturer to perfect the final samples, but in the meantime, you can stay updated on the progress through the brand's social media — and, of course, vote for your women's charity of choice.
